New Energy Nexus is a global organization that supports the advancement of clean energy technologies and innovations through entrepreneurship, with a focus on empowering underrepresented communities. In their efforts to support Tribal energy planning and entrepreneurship, New Energy Nexus provides resources, mentorship, and funding opportunities to help Native American Tribes develop sustainable energy strategies. This includes fostering the growth of Tribal-owned clean energy businesses and ensuring access to clean energy solutions, which can promote energy sovereignty and economic development within Tribal communities. Through collaboration and capacity building, they aim to help Tribes lead the transition to a resilient, renewable energy future.
Tribal Lands are rich with renewable energy resources, yet many Tribes purchase their energy from non-Tribal sources. Woven Energy is shifting the paradigm. Woven assists Tribes planning and implementing Tribal Utilities, Tribal Microgrids, and Tribal Renewable Projects. We believe your Tribe should determine how energy is woven into your community.
